While the convergent ifu cluster is much like the convergent ifa [IuFuAu] fa cluster described above, the lack of social adaptability gives it a completely different flavor. Individuals in the b(ifu) cluster, for the most part, are intellectualized, individualistic, contemplative. The schizoid nature of the adjustment is very obvious because of the marked preoccupation with the internal events. The convergent ifu can scarcely survive without someone to look after him. This is not necessarily an unproductive adjustment, but it is usually highly abstract and mystical.
