The Uncompensated Basic A-U Adjustments

In the uncompensated adolescent adjustments, the basic orientation is not essentially different from the primitive level. Compensation has not been acquired, so that the individual is still functioning primarily in accordance with his inherent tendency. Included in these basic adjustments are the uncompensated Role Adaptive (or "Au") and the uncompensated Role Uniform (or "Uu") orientations.
