PAS Indirect Assessment Inventory

----Important note on Indirect Assessment Questions--------

These questions are designed to take your "first response", that is, what first comes to mind when you read the question. Over-thinking the questions tends to make the results less reliable. Also, please note that when we ask about personality matters, the English language often uses the same words for describing personality as it does for moral matters. For example, "self-centered" can be a personality factor - a person who by personality is more aware of their needs than those of others. But the same word, "self-centered" can also refer to a moral trait of intentionally choosing actions to one's own advantage even knowing that the action is the hurt of others. The questions are meant to assume the personality meaning of a word, not the moral one.

The Indirect Assessment Inventory uses questions where you will be asked to select one of two answers ("A" or "B"), the one which seems to fit you. Sometimes, neither answer seem like a perfect, or even close, fit. You should just answer which choice seems the better fit, even though neither answer really seems "like you."

Note: This Indirect Assessment Inventory is under development and being refined as we gain experience with the Inventory.

----PAS Indirect Assessment Inventory-----------

Select which part of the Indirect Assessment Inventory you wish to start (or resume).

PAS Primitive Factors. This is where to start if you are just beginning the inventory. (10-20 minutes).
PAS Basic Factors. If you know your primitive factors and wish to take the inventory to determine the "basic" level of personality development. This inventory works to determine whether you have "compensated" the primitive factors. (10-15 minutes).
PAS Contact Factors. (Not yet developed). If you know your basic level PAS factors and wish to take the inventory to determine the "contact" level of personality development. This inventory works to determine how you have "modified" the basic level.
