Social (A/U) variable probably the most important on in getting to a dynamic interpretation of the whole pattern. 221
Picture Arrangement less obviously connected to the personality traits than other tests. 221
PA to some extent has element of seeing humor. 222
PA like BD in that high PA just puts them together and gets meaning later. Low PA looks for meaning first. 223
In PA, some people make their own imaginative story. 224
Low PA may have imaginative solution, but ignore cues. 224
Low PA may think they see a story but wrong. 224
High PA indicates doing what subject is "supposed to do" quickly, not understanding. 225
High PA person suggestible to social cues but may not have much understanding of the behavior he can do. 225
Role Adaptive learns roles quickly, but may not be aware of the meaning of the role. 225
Low PA not as suggestible or responsive, tries to get meaning before responding. 225 226
U negativistic - does not respond to external direction and there is something else he would rather do. 226
E and U responsive to external events, but resistant to responding quickly or effectively. 226
