Primitive ERU

Basic i*f*-a*

Surface i\r°u°.

NL 13 - bright above average. Competent horse powered individual.

Very self-disciplined (all the compensation/modification) but a fair amount
  of tension and will probably be able to maintain it.

  Roc mainly an R adjustment with a little F mixed in

  Intellectually Disciplined, 

34 year old Male
Culture differs in expectation for male and female

Primitive ERU: relating, wants transaction but does not get attention
   initially (U). A little frustration in the R procedural style. 
   Doesn't take subtle hints (Ro). Not subtle about demands for
   attention.
   Becomes an achiever. ER tolerates a lot of physical expression.

In school: Learned to sit still (Ec), got intellectually competent.
   A little less focused (Ro) but not sure wanted to give up
   willingness to do same things.
   Likely achieving in intellectual way.
   Uc - learned lessons well

Reaction formation (all 3 dimensions compensated)
 More quiet and attentive to others than perhaps a primitive I
 Emotional control a bit better - no so ornery (Ro). Can have a
    short fuse. 
 Knows when can get away with what (Uc)

With NL 13 is likely to be intellectual achievement

Surface Ucc: Cautious - not too socially self-confident. Aware that
  get along pretty well most of the time - so be careful where I am.

Surface r°- probably not much ambivalence about being R.

Productive individual. Tolerance for a fairly regulated life space.

Difficulties: Tension. When tired, will lose temper easier. Don't bother
  when comes home from work. Could be wearing on colleagues.

Might have E recreation kinds of things. With all the discipline can
 now be comfortable with some E involvement (run the softball league).
 Won't embarrass you because he does not want to embarrass himself.

 Intense and stubborn

High C - wants you to do a good job. May be a bit rough when giving
  criticism (not high S and limited social skills).
  Higher S would make a better boss, but would add to tension.

Rough edges inter-personal especially when tired.

A pretty easy one to talk through.

Putting in high/low on subtests might help think about the profile.

Wrong to say he has "become" an IFA - has become "like" an IFA with
   ERU underneath.

A little more of a curve ball.

NL 10 - average horsepower.
Not blatantly immature but not a lot of self-discipline in some ways

19 year old female (in a male would be in trouble)

Intellectually a weak compensatory and modified - progressively 
  intellectually disciplined.

Primitive: EFA

Basic: i*-fa

Surface: i\fu'-

High activity - probably pretty active in her profile behavior

EFA female usually pretty comfortable in our culture. 
  Utilizes profile. Runs risk of being "too" EFA- over-relating,
    sensual, charming. "Never knew a stranger."
  A little brake with Eo. Chaotic little girl. A little more disciplined.
   Not impulsive (high S is emotional control).
   Not an achiever, not a rote learner. 

Surface taken intellectual skills more seriously.
  So don't get quite so over-involved with others.
  Surface u'- - not quite so much charm to get my own way.

Memory will be around events - Auo- a little caution.

If this was NL14 - got through school doing OK and exploited cuteness
  and got by on NL14. Sooner or later will hit intellectual limit.

But at NL10, not going to go to college. (less true today)

Easy to exploit - vulnerable to environmental structure. An H not likely
  in this profile. More likely to be an M.
  Maybe an H 3 days after being elected homecoming queen.
So let's say it's an M.

Might get married right out of college (or young) getting that structure.
