pasc15b-01-1

female 26 years old

12(Ic+c Ruc+ Ucu+) M real person (not known personally)
Social director at resort hotel
Maybe 2 year degree
3 jobs as social director and fired from all
Wanted to know what she should do

High average NL
IRU liked left alone - but pressure to be a person
e*+ r a* IRU acquire skills - learn and imitate well
              era - conventional, outgoing organized
some tunnel vision - persistence in doing things
		      same way.
           e*+ - very outgoing
a* will do thing with good social roles - knows when to act how
School: Insensitive, opinionated, not insightful, but outgoing.
	   But get along well
e\ r a\ - Consolidated R with practical judgment.
           Consolidated outgoing, social into adult
Why fired: Took social "director" too literally. Not tuned into others enough.
           Social "manager" not director.
Some moderation with Ruc - take Ru order, Ucu "I know way to do
things" with Ic+ intensity too much for most people.

What might she be able to do?
Something where rigid set of ways to do things and with enthusiasm can
      be useful.

Therapist asked what she did as a kid: Piano, baton, dancing
Got job: teach ballroom dancing to 10 year olds

Question: how did IRU girl get to e*+ - family had strong outgoing, doing
values. Valued social values, but not interpersonal (R).
   Good at those lessons.

18 year old male college freshman real case

13(Ioc Foc Aoo) H

Referred to Bob clinically (by football player we did earlier)

5'9" - sandy haired. Muscular - interested people knew he worked out
Football player

Sit, slouch, talk slowly. Then would not talk at all.
(Referrer thought just like him, but was not.)

(Limp handshake when wanted to shake on Bob only telling the truth).

Bob said "It must be hard to trust people."
He said "You know what this is all about."

He said "In HS, he and a friend did a lot of cocaine. Friend in college
   - on a visit - another fellow from home - partied and got drunk."
He passed out and woke up being raped.
Real concern was that they were HIV+ and he would have AIDS.

Not willing to ask others to get blood tests.

   More pursued he got panicked.

After Rorschach - not psychotic but "fringy"

IFA - difficult for males - family history. Oldest with younger brother.
Middle class (upper) suburb. Father traveled a lot good job.
When about 10, divorced parents. Father remarried and moved to
elegant suburb. Mother struggled. Boys stayed with mother.
       Liked father's new wife.
College: Not such a hot shot football player. A little small.
Not fast or big enough to be college fullback (which he did in HS).
So knew he would not play a lot.
e*- r*- u*- - Did want to go to court about rape. "Not a sweet young thing."
13 OK for college. But ambivalent in intellectual discipline and whether
       achievement oriented or not.
H with I not always in contact.

Always talked about getting revenge.
He went to CN talked to father and told whole story. Father was
was hardy, knows what he is going to do.
Bob said I don't know if true but not much choice but to believe story
Struggled with anonymity (father was reassuring)
Was not HIV positive- but not enough time - should test in 6 months.

e\ r\ a\- / u\-

Cuteness to IFA but adult IFA know not appropriate
Stopped going to class - stayed in room. Lost weight.
Dreamy IF fantasy. Got more uncomfortable with Bob.
Would tell Bob "You think I'm a queer." Bob said he had said I don't think
    so and don't care.
