Combining 2 dimensions on the prim level
social confusion U
orderly R
behavioral passive I
imitative R
imagination internal reality I
imaginative creative F
IF = creative imaginative people
seen as cold R
not responsive I
sensitive F
social awkward U
introspective I
attractive A
specialist R U (U = achiever) (R=focused) RU modal specialist
emotionally independent I
relationships (with relation to big picture F), social A
FA understands relationships RA reacts to social learned imitatively and not
understand implications of behavior
abstract I (comfortable inside) F seeing big picture is higher level seems abstract achievement oriented U
ideational I
trial/error learning F
"cute" A
disorganized F
preoccupied I
black/white reality R
distractable E or F - both interested in knowing more.
E because it is what I think about. F because thats how I make decisions.
EFs are all over the place. If As they get away with it
Focused R
Emotionally dependent E
Talking about behaviors not individuals
DIGITS I E
I R - think in orderly logical ways, learn in imitative fashion
learn intellectual material by rote - lists, vocabulary in languages
close to a computer as humans can be
what goes in comes out
IR doctor cause can get through school but lacks F qualities we want
in a doctor.
theoretical technical
I F - trial/error learning. Big picture, curious multi-dimensional
looks and sees and thinks about
theoretical philosophy, speculative
speculative thinkers (Einstein, Freud)
how things fit together
understand people even if don't relate to them
Participative observer
get bored with one set of complex ideas
E R Does - thinks about what does or done
doer first and thinker second
curious about world but in orderly way
pursue world in logical linear way
avoids ambiguity where possible and resolve as quickly as possible
modally expect athletes - tolerance for practice
Rs tend to be loyal - tolerance for small important number of friends
IR not as loyal in terms of emotional needs
IR loyal in terms of administrative needs - I need them for what I get
E F- active trial and error learner
Speculative doing gets bored and switches doing
R's tend to solve problem to end but miss big picture till get to end
involved in the process.
F's don't start unless have picture
Both IF and EF start more things than finish
F's tend to not want to throw out cause can think of use for it
EFs in physical world
IFs in intellectual world (reprints, books)
IF office - don't cleanup because my head has the organization
EF distracted by physical chaos
IF can stand physical chaos as long as it is where it is supposed to
be.
EF makes order e.g. puts things inside things. But can forget where.
I conceptual memory. E experiential memory.
( cocktail party: IR remembers one person and what they talked about,
EF knows all the people at the party, dress, what food was
