PAS Seminar Session 2 - Combining Two Dimensions on the Primitive Level Part 3 |
pasc2-01-3
IR learns lists by rote, intellectual material, vocabulary. As close to
a computer as a human can be. Memory back out. Logical orderly.
Focused, narrow, opinionated.
Organized, efficient, logical. Healthcare - especially doctors due to
med school requirements.
But like to see Dr. who is IF - understands our pain and distress.
So IF big picture, curious multi-dimensional tolerates ambiguity.
Theoretical philosophical - speculative thinkers. (Einstein, Freud)
Understanders of people even if not relaters - participant observers.
Observe and understand. Must have multi-interests/ideas, unlike IR who can
be specialized.
ER Active, transacter, does and then thinks about what he has done.
Curious in an orderly way. Avoids ambiguity and resolve as quick.
"Organized Doer"
Athletes R tolerance for repetition - and doing kind of thing
EF Trial and Error learner - physically active. ER more content with a
smaller number of people - more loyal. Small number of important friends.
IR loyal with regard to administrative needs, not emotional needs.
R really works to get to the end - but is so involved in the process that
he does not see what it is about till the end.
IF and EF start more things than they finish.
F does not throw stuff out. EFs in physical world. IFs keep reprints
and books. IF has organization in head. EF has trouble with physical world
disorder. Puts things inside things and then cannot find.
I conceptual memory.E experiential memory.
IR at party: talked to one friend about details of chess matches. Doesn't
remember who was there or what food was.
EF talked to everyone. Knows food and what people wore.
I-A I shyness with A attractiveness. Maybe change one. But maybe get people to think you are more involved than you are (R way).$a
I-U Shy on both counts. Achievement more likely to be intellectual. Solitary behavior.
E-U wants transaction and does not get it - EU children learn achievement faster than IU (does what they have to do to get taken care of - not hard when small children) because they need the emotional attention.
E-A Socially involved doing mix.
R-A Learned social behavior in imitative fashion but does not have understanding and can't shift gears midstream real well.
R-U Achiever who learns procedures. Tolerance for rote learning. Show me what to do and I'll do it. Socially unreactive and not understand why people are upset with them - not see social gaffe. IRU wont see social gaffe but not care. ERU doesn't understand (gaffes) but won't shut up. ("Why doesn't he like me").
F-A Learned social skill trial and error - understands. reads between lines.
Socially reactive and understands implications of social behavior. Socially
active and skillful. Socially attractive and engaging. EFA interactive (maybe
over) - F gets easily bored. So F-A processes a lot of people through their
life activity. ER and ERU don't understand that. (John said "fickle").
FA can be fickle and get away with it. FU less fickle but not get away
with it.
Achievement of FU - imaginative/creative. Will understand that others
are not paying attention to him. EFU understands why they don't pay
attention - they don't like me. But don't say anything because it will
make it worse. Does not take much to embarrass FU. ERU bull in china shop.
EFU gets attention with achievement - human services."Let me help you with
that - that must be hard for you to deal with." Especially EFU.
EFU is modal "helping" behavior.
John always talks about "E" series first because he is an "E"
