EFU (continued) 
do a lot of different things in the way of achievement
     highly creative in sense of finding novel ways of dealing with the world
     emotionally labile - explore the world differently than any other child

I series

I series internal landscape is preferred to external. We don't have
access to that so we make inferences.

IRA 
Like ERA, imitative learners, social, learn social skills from modeling,
    lack insight into what social skills mean. When environment shifts
    can have a hard time (R)
Interior landscape is place I series prefers to be.
IA is not as happy as EA - I's want to be left alone except to be taken
  care of. EU learns to achieve. 
  IA may: do what they want and hope they go away. Conform to get them
    to pay less attention. Chameleons without emotional investment. 
    "Makes up better friends than find in real world"
    People important not for emotional needs, but need people to tell
      be about world I don't understand and take care of me.
IR fits into school well - learns/remembers, memorizes, rote learner
  Unlike E, don't have intellectual inferiority issues.
  IRA does well in school and socially - problem is keeping people at
    distance. Develop compartmentalized world - my internal one and
    the one everyone else is in.
  Can look like ERA, but "drifty" learn the "moves" but do with "eyes closed"
    Program themselves to do appropriate things but you don't get inside
    my head.
  for first 10 years or so IRA "good child" - conforming, learn in school,
       socially attractive. A kind of self-sufficiently cause don't over-relate.
       Can be perceived as leaders.
  Then adolescents - tough on IRA. R is not emotionally sensitive and then get
    emotional upheaval. (True of all R's to an extent).
    Up to now, "Tell me what you want and I'll do it intellectually (I) or
    socially (A)". In adolescence can't keep the distance.
  New needs, IA conflict want to be involved but have learned to be 
    uninvolved. So lots of experimental learning. 
    Everything has been compartmentalized and figured out so this is
      difficult.
  e.g. I individual who compensates learns E and "shows it off" because he
    he wants you to know. Most obvious extroverts are Ic.
    (basic level adds, does not replace primitive).
  IRA does not show through well at the basic level.
  IRA child lives up to everyone's expectation but is not involved in
    doing it. (14 yr old Eagle scout who kills his parents - no one knew the
    internal). Everyone perceives the RA and the I world is hidden. e.g.
    can't tell them how angry I am. R not insightful don't know how
    to tell them.

  I individuals are not "lonely" like E. Need a few friends and are loyal
    which people like because you can count on them. 
  John speculates many prostitutes are uncompensated IRA - body is professional
    tool - while it goes on, they are somewhere else. Push button and tape
    runs.
     (Me same concept for pastors)
  IRA not negative. 
  IRA very unusual to not have a lot of pressure to adjust. 
    IA compensates by compensates I or A.

IRU
  Lacks the social imitativeness of the IRA
  The IRA may have academic achievement in IRA because it is easy, not
    because it is needed to get attention - IRA does what everyone expects.
    Intellectual and social imitation.
  With IRU - focus on IR and IU
  Often allowed to just sit in the internal landscape up to a point
    Few needs as long as taken care of.
    But when move around, "U" children asked sooner to "earn their keep"
      than A.
  So use the IR to become student because that will get me noticed.
  Learns by imitation - school, in family (take care of siblings) - not 
    motivated by wanting to help (e.g. EFU) but because can reproduce what
    is around me. 
    Achievement of the IR is to absorb and transmit it - IRUs are
     transmitters of culture. 
  ERU use physical skills, IRU may also perseverate but not by hitting a
    ball, but thinking, computer, chess.
  IR has computer linear process to achieving in the world.
  e.g. Many doctors an IRU - needed to get through medical school.
   Concert pianists (more intellectual than physical skill) - memorize
     pieces, dependent on coach. Reproduce where they come from.
  Easy for IRU to be scholar - don't want a LOT of attention. 
    Needs taken care of. 
  IRA interacts in emotional unattached way.
  IRU tough adolescence due to U
  "Intellectual exploiter"
  IRA good student in elementary but may fall off in middle school
  IRU better in high school 
  Vulnerability of IRU: IU can be ignored - does not make waves
